I had an outstanding experience from start to finish at Precision Tune Auto Care in Concord, NC. I brought my car in for repairs and was worried about the cost, but the manager, JP was incredibly helpful. JP was completely transparent about the costs and walked me through a financial option that made the repairs manageable and stress-free. Beyond the professional service, JP was honest, polite, and had a great sense of humor—he even offered me a krispy kreme doughnut while I waited! I highly recommend if you need auto repairs and want honest work and a welcoming atmosphere, ask for JP 😉

My recently purchased used car wouldn't start at work. I had already entrusted Precision Tune Auto Care with the pre-purchase inspection, and they did an excellent job. So, I planned to have them handle the repairs as well. I immediately called them and asked if they could tow the car or recommend someone who could. They suggested AVG Towing, who took great care of my vehicle and transferred it safely from my work to Precision Tune Auto Care. Once the car arrived, Precision Tune called me and recommended diagnostic testing to ensure the starting issue wasn’t anything major. They performed a charging system diagnostic test ($75) and, luckily, found nothing wrong. They then tested the relays, replaced them, and discovered that my fuel pump also needed to be replaced (relay + fuel pump replacement $906.10). They got my car started and running in no time—I dropped it off on Thursday and picked it up on Friday. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and were a pleasure to talk to. I recently purchased my third vehicle from Carvana and, as I always do, took it to my trusted mechanic for a post-purchase inspection. During the inspection, a leaking CV axle seal was discovered along with a few recommended maintenance items based on the vehicle’s mileage. Following SilverRock’s warranty process, I took the vehicle to an in-network repair facility that confirmed the issue and quickly obtained the necessary part. Unfortunately, they were unable to remove the seal and referred me to Precision Tune Auto Care. My initial experience with Precision Tune was excellent. I spoke with Brandon, who was professional, courteous, and communicated clearly. He understood that I was working within Carvana’s limited return window and assured me the vehicle could be dropped off after hours so their master technician could inspect it first thing the next morning. Throughout our conversations, Brandon was proactive, transparent, and respectful of my time. As someone who works in customer service, I genuinely appreciated his professionalism and attention to detail. Unfortunately, my experience the following day was the complete opposite. I had the pleasure of working with Brandon yesterday. He was very helpful when I had questions about potential future services, and was very patient and helpful. After the team looked at my car in the bay, Brandon came back to explain everything on the paperwork which was very helpful. He was friendly, welcoming and seemed to really enjoy his job. I will be returning to this location due to the excellent costumer service and excellent car service from the team in the bay. Overall I was happy with the services provided to me yesterday.
